About the Designer

Lisbeth Lehan had a vision to design practical, safe baby products for style-savvy moms and dads. Her vision came to life with the birth of líllébaby™ in 2002. While preparing for a medical career, Lisbeth decided in the middle of a lecture, "I am not going to be a doctor," and walked out of the classroom. Though she chose not to pursue medicine, her aptitude for medical research prepared her for a new career - designer of the líllébaby brand.

After having her first child, Lisbeth found there weren't many Scandinavian products available to American parents. Watching her friends drool over the baby items she brought back from her home in Norway ignited an entrepreneurial passion to create líllébaby. With her background in medical research, she based her design decisions on the results of various infant health and development studies.

While Lisbeth thinks that Mom knows best, she strongly feels that juvenile products must assist parents in doing the right thing for their child. Lisbeth is first and foremost a mom, but she is not afraid to admit that life with children is not always easy. She believes the right products can go a long way in helping parents enjoy those years.

Today Lisbeth has mastered the merging of safety and convenience with style. líllébaby designs are inspired by Scandinavian nature and the Norwegian traditions of quality and simplicity. True to its origin, líllébaby will continue to make products that promote the safe care of children and satisfy the needs of parents.
